Amula ("we", "us") provides the App. If you contact us via the website form or in-app or store support channels, you are communicating with the team responsible for the App. For privacy-related requests, use the contact options listed in the App or on the website.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the App, we may process:

• Account and profile data — such as email or account identifiers you provide, and preferences you set in the App.
• Birth and personal context — date, time, and place of birth and similar inputs you choose to enter to personalize symbols, messages, and related features.
• Content you submit — for example, images you upload for features such as cup or symbol interpretation, and text you send through in-app flows or support.
• Usage and diagnostics — how you interact with the App (e.g. screens opened, feature usage), crash logs, and performance data to keep the App stable and improve it.
• Device and technical data — device type, operating system version, language, approximate region or timezone where needed for features, and identifiers used for analytics or fraud prevention in line with platform rules.

We do not require you to provide more than is reasonably needed for the features you use. Some fields may be optional.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Provide, personalize, and improve Amula (including daily symbols, messages, tests, and interactive features).
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and debug technical issues.
• Communicate with you about the App, updates, or support when you contact us or opt in where applicable.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Where required by law, we rely on appropriate legal bases such as performance of a contract, legitimate interests (e.g. improving and securing the App), or your consent for specific processing (e.g. certain analytics or marketing, if offered).

4. AI and automated processing

Some features use automated systems, including machine learning or rule-based logic, to generate symbols, text, or interpretations. Outputs are for reflection and entertainment unless we state otherwise. They are not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.

5. Sharing and processors

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service providers who host data, send notifications, provide analytics, or help us operate the App, under contracts that require protection of your information.
• Apple and Google as platform operators, according to their terms and your device settings (e.g. App Store / Play billing and account systems if you use them).
• Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Providers may process data in countries other than yours; we take steps consistent with applicable law to safeguard transfers.

6. Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law. You may be able to delete your account or certain data in the App; we will also delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed.

7. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we encourage you to use device security features and strong credentials.

8. Children

The App is not directed at children under the age required by law in your region (often 13 or 16). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to restrict or object to certain processing, or to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact us through the App or website. Apple and Google offer additional controls in device and store settings.

10. Third-party services and links

The App or website may link to third parties (e.g. social or payment pages). Their practices are governed by their own policies; we are not responsible for their content or handling of data.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version in the App and/or on the website and adjust the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy where allowed by law.
