Account & Data Removal
How to permanently remove your Amula account and the associated data.
Last updated: 21 August 2026
Remove your account in the app
If you can open Amula, this is the simplest path:
- Open Amula.
- Open Profile.
- Choose the account and data removal option.
- Review the explanation and confirm only when you are sure.
This action permanently removes your Amula account, cloud profile, and account-linked app data. It cannot be undone.
If you cannot open the app
Send an account-removal request through the Contact page. Use the email address connected to your Amula account and write “Please remove my Amula account and data” in the message. We may need to verify account ownership before completing the request.
What will be removed
- Account identifiers and personal information linked to the Amula account.
- Profile, preferences, optional location or personal context stored with the account.
- Stored content you submitted to Amula features, including photos and text inputs.
- Saved results, settings, history, and account-linked balances where applicable.
- Account-linked app-interaction and diagnostic records where they can reasonably be connected to the account.
What may remain temporarily
Limited records may be retained where required or permitted for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal obligations, or financial recordkeeping. We also instruct relevant processors to delete account-linked data where required. Store purchase records controlled by Google or another store follow that provider's rules. Anonymous information that cannot reasonably be linked back to you may remain.
Subscriptions must be cancelled separately
Deleting your Amula account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription purchased through Google Play or another store. Cancel the subscription in the store account used for the purchase if you do not want it to renew.
Timing and help
We acknowledge and respond to verified privacy requests within one month where GDPR applies and complete deletion without undue delay, subject to lawful exceptions and any permitted extension. For details by data category, see Data Deletion. If you need help, contact Amula.
